Sarah became a fan of the stage at a very young stage, even though she was still in prep school. She was captivated by acting after being spotted by her drama teacher who was cutting through his yard so she could get to her field hockey lesson on time. Sarah became inspired to improve her acting abilities by choosing the dual degree on the campus of Hamilton College at Hamilton College in English as well as Theater. She also studied theatre in London as well as Oxford during her junior year. Sarah's parents were supportive of their daughter's desire to learn more about the realm of arts. As her mom worked as English Department Chairwoman at the Convent of the Sacred Heart Greenwich CT, and her dad an accomplished artist and musician, both embraced Sarah's love of art.
