Maggie Grace is an American actor who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. After her parents' divorce, she left Worthington, Ohio to live at Los Angeles. While struggling financially she landed her first part as the title character in the online video series Rachel's Room in 2001. The role she played in the role of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. film Murder In Greenwich in 2002 earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford, the character she played in Lost from 2004 until 2005 was selected for a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was forced to quit the show in order to focus on her film career. The actress had been on the show with Tom Welling opposite in The Fog earlier in the year 2005. She appeared in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) and opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in 2008. She played the same role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace played the role of Shannon in two episodes of Lost which included the finale of the series. She was in 2013 for the sixth episode of Californication. The character she plays is Faith, who is the muse and fan of the celebrities. Hank Moody as played by David Duchovny falls in love with her. As a part of the Gyllenhaal family, she's the daughter and older sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. She began her career as a teenager with small roles in several of the films of her father and starred together with her brother in famous cult classic Donnie Darko (2001). The year 2002 saw her was featured as a character on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Also, she appeared in Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performance as a lead character in Secretary (2002) as well as in Sherrybaby (2006), which is an erotic romantic drama and Sherrybaby (2006).
